Welcome to the American Club website.

We are an active social group and welcome all nationalities with an interest in America to attend a monthly social MeetUp to find out if our club is right for you. See our Events page. 

Our annual membership for new members begins on the joining date. Single: $30, Family of up to four: $60, and Senior discounts. To join, complete the application form on the Become a Member page and make a payment. We accept credit card payment and PayPal.


New Member applications are reviewed by our Executive Committee. Once confirmed, you will be invited to all membership events at member rates and gain secure access to our members only pages. 

American Club events provide opportunities to network and meet new friends. The Club has strong affiliate relationships with other organizations including the US Consulate, the American Chamber of Commerce, American Women's Club, Canadian Club, Fulbright New Zealand and the American/Canadian Softball League. 

Our American Club Executive Committee meets bi-monthly. Please contact us at an event, or by email if you would like to join our leadership team. 

All fundraising activity is for funding of the Peter Brown Memorial Friendship Award We award $2000 NZ annually to a New Zealand student to support their US undergraduate studies. We welcome donations, items for raffles, and volunteer fund raising for the Award. If you would like to donate or apply for the Award, please visit our Award pages or contact us directly.
